I, in no way, feel that I have any extra authority to discern what it says.

We all share the same authority of Whom we look to in the writings ...not us being the authority, but God.

It's sort of like the fine-tuning of a radio. We can have more than one station coming in at the same time, and we have to recognize which one we want to listen to ...and fine-tune, to eliminate interference.

But sometimes more than one station can be broadcasting the same thing, so our discernment may have to go further.

It is not always a matter of apples and oranges ...and an image can be like a seed; if planted in our mind, that may be the image we always see when reading something not quite as descriptive as our imagination.

We may picture Adam and Eve eating an apple, but we do not read that.  It was a fruit, and if God wanted us to picture what was described as "pleasant to the eyes", then He would have described it.

That may be food for thought if we want to get to the core of the matter, but I'd hope we'd not be so taken by the description that we'd be tempted to eat the page right out of the book ...that would be fruitless.

With that being said, if you are still with me, let me say that I am not going to provide any interpretation of anything I haven't written ...that would be fruitless too.  Though I will assist in understanding, if you so desire me to.

But at this time, I am merely going to tell a story ...and
if you get anything out of it, or find it to be of interest,
then perhaps my time writing it was of more value
than what I at first anticipated.

This story is entitled, Song of Stephen.

Hopefully, my story will not cause you to signal SOS, but rather provide some help in an area you had not called for.

There have always been songs.

And songs are sung for particular occasions, for all sorts of particular reasons ...and they always express some feeling, whether it is lighthearted nonsense, or intensely emitted emotions.
